January 18, 2005: Her edema (swelling) was down in her face, and she managed to open BOTH eyes and look around
at her isolette and especially at her parents.
January 19, 2005: Like Nathaniel, she wants to suck her thumb! Although she can't actually get her hand in
her mouth, she puts it as close as she can and sucks on her ventilator tube instead.
We finally got to change a diaper and take her temperature!
