Mommy called Daddy at work and told him that Nathaniel had knocked his Gradnma Mae's crystal
dish (which they use to hold potpourri or plants) off the window sill and put a large crack or something in it.
He was very upset because the dish was antique and irreplaceable. When he got home, he
was so upset, and Mommy made Nathaniel show Daddy what he had done!
Daddy was so relieved, and they all laughed about it.
Mommy didn't lie, Nathaniel DID put the "crack"er in the dish!
